RENTAL RATES
Hourly rates rental rates available for outdoor events.
$350 per hour for parties of 100 persons or more.
$250 per hour rates for parties under 100 guests.

Rental Fee includes
Use of House, 12 acre grounds and parking area. First floor kitchen with 12' island buffet, furnished dining and sitting area with stone fireplace and half bath. Two upstairs bedrooms and baths. Iron garden furniture outdoor seating for 60. A staff member on duty for duration of your event. Owners who can assist you with vendor referrals and coordinating your event. We are also happy to work with the event planner of your choice.
Rental Fee does not include
Food and Beverages, Service Staff, Rental Items (tents, additional tables chairs, linens, china, etc.). Additional restroom facilities, transportation services, valet parking, security Guards and lifeguards.
San Michele has one downstairs restroom and two upstairs restrooms with a 1250 gallon septic system capacity rated for normal residential usage. Please inquire about additional restroom facility needs for large events.
Parking is available in the gravel areas only. Valet parking, bus and van transportation services are not required but may be contracted through San Michele’s approved vendor list at client’s expense.
San Michelle reserves the right to hire security on an as-needed basis. If necessary, these charges will be deducted from your deposit.
Rehearsal
Wedding ceremony rentals include a one hour block for rehearsal and two hour photography block to be coordinated by San Michele. We cannot guarantee rehearsal time for the day before your wedding as there may be another event scheduled. This will be coordinated on a case by case basis.
Deposit
A $500 non-refundable security deposit is required to reserve your date. The rental fee is due in its entirety at the signing of the contract. Payment may be made via cash check or credit card.

Photography or filming time is available for $75 when scheduled separate from an event.
All Reservations will be confirmed upon receipt of non-refundable reservation deposit in the amount of $500. San Michele reserves the right to refuse any applications for any reason. Upon execution of the rental contract, this deposit may applied as your security deposit, and may be refunded in part or full within one week after your event. Rental contract must be executed within two weeks of receipt of the reservation deposit. A reserve date will be considered available after the two week period has expired.
Payment including deposit is due in full at the time of signing the contract and may be paid by check or credit card.
All contractors and vendors must carry their own licenses and proof of insurance. Copies of which must be given to management prior to event. San Michele must be indicated as an additionally insured for the duration of the event including set up and breakdown times. We are happy to work with your wedding coordinator, consultants, party planners, and decorators.
All tenting upon approval and in advance may be set up on the grassy areas and gravel terrace surrounding the house.
San Michele does not have a liquor license and therefore does not sell alcohol. The client or caterer may provide alcohol for the event. All Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) laws must be followed while on the premises. Any person under the age of 21 will not be served alcohol under any circumstances. All bartenders from the caterers must be TABC certified and trained to serve alcohol at San Michele. All service staff is required by law to refuse service to any guest who appears to be intoxicated.
No client or guest will be allowed to bring onto the premises or remove from the premises open containers of alcoholic beverages.
Smoking is not permitted in the San Michele facility. Due to potential grass fires, smoking is only allowed outside in the gravel areas.
Facility rental includes general cleaning at the end of the event. In the case of excessive cleaning needs, a fee of $50 per hour will be deducted from your security deposit. All items including rentals, tenting and personal belongings must be removed from the property at the close of the event. San Michele is not responsible for items left on property. It is the responsibility of the caterer to remove all garbage from the property at the end of the event. There is a $250 charge for moving sitting area furniture In & Out
Because San Michele has open water features, trees and landscaping that have thorns adult supervision of children is required at all times. Parental & adult supervision of children must be diligently observed at all times.
Because San Michele is located adjoining a residential area as well as private ranches, we ask that the decimal level be kept to a reasonable level of 85 decibels @ 300 ft from nearest speaker or sound source and that it end by midnight.
San Michele is a decorator’s delight. There are so many architectural & landscaping features that can be accented with additional lighting, garlands, wreaths, ribbons, balloons and floral arrangements: columns, trees, light fixtures, wrought iron balcony, gates & doorways, garden furnishings, iron arches & gazebo. Non toxic candles & flowers may be floated in the pool, pond and fountains.
Lighting, garlands, wreaths, floral arrangements, may be added to doorways, Stair-rail, mantle, and light fixtures. Floral centerpieces may be placed on the kitchen island & center table, baker’s rack, mantle & bathroom sinks, glass & tile tabletops.
Items such as birdseed, glitter, rice and sparklers may not be used. Items attached with glue or staples to permanent structures will not be approved. Nails, wire, hooks may be used with owner approval. No open flame candles.
Special structures such as awnings, archways, & trellises can be added to the gravel and grassy areas as well as flooring, paving or carpeting at clients’ expense and with prior approval. Additional planting & lighting can be added at clients’ expense.
San Michele has an array of different pottery, linens and décor to assist you in creating a look that is uniquely yours for your event.
All décor is an additional fee determined on each individual basis.
Deliveries must be coordinated with San Michele staff prior to the event date. All contractors must meet standards set forth by the facility. San Michele cannot accept any freight or other delivered items on behalf of the client.
There is a non refundable $500 reservation deposit. A 50 percent refund will be granted if the cancellation received falls between the period of 3 to 7 months prior and there will be no refund granted for cancellations less than 3 months. As well, San Michele reserves the right to cancel with full refund with seven months written notice to client.
